I want to know ...

Hello,

In BW there are so many terminologies I want to understand, such as:

1.Fiscal year variant which always stick with fiscal year

2.Fiscal year period

3.Relationships between Fiscal year variant and Fiscal year

4.Relationships between Fiscal year period and Fiscal year and Fiscal year variant

Do you have any documents in which you can understand these terminologies?

Thanks

Hi Ryan,

Fiscal Year: A period of usually 12 months, for which the company produces financial statements and takes inventory. A fiscal year need not correspond to the calendar year. Under certain circumstances, fiscal years containing fewer than 12 months are also permitted (short fiscal year).

Fiscal Year Variant: A variant defining the relationship between the calendar and fiscal year. The fiscal year variant specifies the number of periods and special periods in a fiscal year and how the SAP System is to determine the assigned posting periods.

Hope this helps...
