scenarios of IDoc adapter to File Adapter and vice versa

Hi,

Please provide the step-by-step procedure for the following scenarios

1) IDoc to XML/text file

2) text file (multiple rows) to IDoc (Multiple IDocs based on number of rows in recordset)

Hi,

For IDOC to FIle:

first of all you need to configure ALE Settings:

in R/3 System:

--> Create Logical System using BD54

--> Assign logical System to Client using SCC4

--> Create an RFC destination pointing to PI using SM59.

--> Create Port using WE21 and mention RFC destination Which you have created earlier.

--> Create Partner Profiles using WE20 and maintain outbound parameters and message types.

in PI system:

--> Create RFC destination pointing to R/3 System.

--> Create port using IDX1

--> Import IDOC meta data using IDX2.
