Hi,
Our Portal system JCONTROL.EXE has error u201CStopped, License Check failedu201D. Its down Java instances are not running. I put it in safe mode & started visual admin & check license adapter field where I found maintenance & net weaver license are correct & have validity period.
But J2EE-ENGINE_MSS IS not set or expired. Please let me know if any one faced such issue or put advice for the same.

Request a new license with License type J2EE_ENGINE_MSS instead of Standard License.
Netweaver License if for Dual Stack systems with ABAP+ Java.Its an issue with License Type.

Have you tryed to reinstall the license via Visual Admin?
