Hi ,

Have an issue on dealing with WD4A projectu2026! Like if we want to break the project into small components and integrate those later on stages. Is there any application where we can merge all the small components to build the project ??

hi Kumar ,

u can use the concept of " component usage in WDA" .

Component usage can be used for dedicated WD components that are built to display a special set of data and can be used by other WD applications.

Each WD component has a component interface. It contains exactly one interface controller which constitutes of contexts, events, methods and at least one interface view. To be able to use an external component, we first need to define a component usage.

Through component usage, larger Web Dynpro projects can be structured with several Web Dynpro components.

You will also want to study the Floorplan Manager framework. This is an SAP provided framework for Web Dynpro that is designed to help with combining multiple components together into one overall application using configuration.
