"Store Business document" with original file name

Hi experts,

I´m using the "Store Business Document" funktion in PB30 to add documents to applications. My problem is that all documents of the same type get the same title except for the standart documenttypes like HRIRESUAPL (all the standart types are FAX / why is that?). Is there a possiblity to have that for all defined types?

If you need more deitails just ask

The only way to correct this is through an enhancement. I'm not sure why SAP designed it this way, but we generally just put in an enhancement which either changes the attachment list to include the filename so the user can see the document type and file name.

Hi Athol,

thanks for your reply.

Have you done this already?

Can you give me an example for this enhancement?

Yes, we have implemented it at a number of sites already.

Unfortunately I don't have copies of the code or screen dumps with me.

ok i see

it would help me a lot if you could tell me where to place the coding (hopefully i can do the rest on my own)

or give me some more hints

Unfortunately not, I'm not an ABAPer. I normally just give the spec to one of my ABAP consultants and they get it done.

Thanks anyway.

Now I know that this is not about customizing.

I´ll call my consultant when he gets back from holiday.

hi,

the Configuration is like that,

when we maintain Document Class ex-FAX or TIFF for the Respective Documnet type. The Asssigned Document type always belong to CLASS in Archive LInk interfacing.
