Hi All,

I'm new developer in SAP ICH for APO.

In this company we just implemented APO for Demand Planning (DP) modules and now we're going to implement SAP ICH.

But I still don't know from what point I should setup ??

If you don't mind, Would you like kindly help me to guide me how setup SAP ICH / give me the big points I should setup ??? If you don't mind, would you like to share me the steps from the beginning until the end points.

I heard that it also needs SAP XI.

How can I setup that ??

Thanks you very much all,

I really need ur guidance.

Best regards,

Daniel Nurindra..

Daniel,

SAP doesn't call it ICH much any more, it is now referred to as Supply Network Collaboration. If you have an older version of SCM, though, it still says ICH.

It really depends on what business requirements you want to satisfy. The solution always flows from the business's requirements. For technical docs, I always start with Best Practices.

Here are a couple, there are more.

[S32 SCM Collaboration settings|http://help.sap.com/bp_scmv250/BBLibrary/Documentation/S32_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE.doc ]

[S58 Supply Network Inventory|http://help.sap.com/bp_scmv250/BBLibrary/Documentation/S58_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE.doc]

There are more config guides for other business scenarios in Best Practices [Here|http://help.sap.com/bp_scmv250/BBLibrary/HTML/BBLibrary_EN_DE.htm]. These are all based on SCM 5 but they apply to just about any version.

Daniel,

No, we are not. We are a manufacturing company. We started with a vigorous EDI program within our ERP before we ever converted to SCM, and our business people are satisfied with the current functionality. When the company balanced the ICH implementation cost with the business benefit, the decision was made to continue with all the current communication methodologies, but continually enhance them as necessary. ICH is not on our radar.

I hope that some of the other experts can offer you some insight. Unfortunately, I can't.

Rgds,
