Create or Copy Adapters

I would like to create a copy of the IDOC adapter. After I create a copy I would like to leave the XI delivered IDOC adapter set up to convert to XML. I would like to have the Copied IDOC adapter configured to "Not Convert" to XML.

Is this possible?

If so, does anyone know of any documentation on Adapter creating or copying?

Hi Skip,

Is your scenario is R/3->XI ? If so , then you don;t have Idoc adapter in the Sender Side explicitly.

Hi Skip,

what exactly do you mean by COPY an ADAPTER?

If you want to copy your adapters/ communication channel in your ID from one scenario to another, this is possible. Just right click on your Communciation Channel--> Copy Object.
