oracle 10g(10.2.0.2) patching. oci.dll being used by others program.

Dear all.

I'm installing oracle database for netweaver. i face an error while running patch collection after patchset with the following code.

c:\..\Opatch\opatch apply

the error is oci.dll being used by others program.

I've disable the oracleSQL+ service but the problem still exist.

hope anyone can give solution.

Did you also stop Oracle listener? And did you check for any other processes with an 'ora' in their name?

If this all doesn't help, a rename of 'oci.dll' to 'oci_old.dll' should work.

the file is been using by others program. so cant rename the file.

by the way. i have solve the problem by myself.

now the only problem is the SQL+ not working by follow the 10202_Patch18_WINNT.zip README file.

Do we need to implement all the step of the installation README file?
