Partner name

Hi,

How to find the partner name for a sales document. For a sales document for the partner function 'Sales Employee' or 'Sales Representative' I would like to know the partner name.

If you go to table VBPA for <b>partner select PARVW = PA</b>

for <b>sales employee PARVW = PE</b> and for <b>employee PARVW = EM.</b>

If u want to know the name of the partner, then one of the ways for picking it would be the field kunn2 in the table KNVP and based on that picking up the NAME1 from KNA1.

Partner numbers are stored in VBPA table with their functions.Read the VBPA table with sales document and partner function and Get the Kunnr. For the name read Kna1-name1.

Hi,

The details of the partners for a order can be found in VBPA table, the details will be there in KNA1 table against a specific partner type.

Remember to use a CONVERSION EXIT for the partner type.

Hi Lakshmi,

You can get the partner function from the table KNVP and the field is PARVW.

If you wanna know the partner function text..

go to table TPART and fetch the field VTEXT.

I don't want the description of the partner, I want the partner name. If you go to VA42 other than the sold-to, Bill-to, ship-to and buyer there r other partner functions and i want to know the partner names for them not the description.

I did not understand which description refering.

When you read VBPA table, you can get kunnr and adrnr.

Name can be read either in kna1 using kunnr or

adrc table using adrnr.

Name is what will be there in KNA1-NAME1 field for the given partner number.
