Can't access repositories

Hello everybody,

I recently installed a MDM 7.1 installation on Linux and Oracle. I installed the Admin console on my desktop and now trying to connect to the server and repository. I can connect to the MDM server and it shows running, with the logs and activities underneath the tree. However as soon as I am trying to mount a repository which is my Oracle DB I can't connect since it is asking for a repository. I do want to use the SAP delivered repositories, but I seem to be in an endless loop here. I thought those standard repositories were installed with the install, but I seem to miss a part of the information here. I have the read the MDM Customer Content Guide, but it seems also to assume that I have all this available to me. Can someone please help out?

Thanks

Andrea

Hi,

With the MDM 7.1 Business Content you will get default repositories. You have to first unarchive these *.a2a files on your MDM server and then mount it OR you can create a repository with or without default archives.

so first step is to create repository and then mount it.

Regards.
