Agents - sapccmsr - sapccm4x - Wily IS Java Agent - SMD Agent - saposcol

Hi,

After implementing SMD, a managed system will have 5 SAP agents running :

1. saposcol

2. sapccmsr (J2EE instance)

3. sapccm4x (ABAP)

4. Wily IS Java agent (J2EE instance)

5. SMD agent

When you check data uploaded in CCMS (RZ20) by agent SAPCCM4X (job failed for example), you can find exactly the same information (logs) in WebView. For WebView, the logs are uploaded by Wily IS Java Agent.

My question :

Does someone know the SAP strategy in the future related SAP agent ?

Does it make sense to keep running 5 agents per managed system, as far as we can consider that agent can collect the same data ?

Does someone can describe in detail which log information are collected by Agent ?

From what I have heard is that CCMS agents will be mostly not used in future SAP release. Not sure, which will be the new one's...but that seems to be the buzz around.
