Hi gurus.........
what program need at background , to transport objects from DEV to PRD system....?
Thanks in advance.............
Regds,
BBR.
Hi,
RDDIMPDP program runs in background for each client. RDDIMPDP can be scheduled in the background by executing RDDNEWPP or RDDPUTPP. Use the tp checkimpdp <sap sid> command in /usr/sap/trans/bin directory as <sid>adm user to check RDDIMPDP program.
Thanks.
Ramakrishna.

Hi,
you can schedule following job immediately with High prioty
RDDNEWPP
RDDIMPDP
Go to SA38
write name as RDDNEWPP
select High priority in next screen
it will run RDDIMPDP job.
then go to sm37 & check whether RDDIMPDP is active or not.
Now you can import your transport.

Santosh

Hi BBr,
tp checkimpdp <sap sid> is correct.

The batch job RDDIMPDP is responceable for the transport.Once tp has sent the corresponding event to the R/3 System, RDDIMPDP checks table TRBAT to see if there is anything for it to do. If so, it starts the required programs (for example, mass activation) in the background, schedules itself again, and then stops.
Thanks

Hi,
To transport object from DEV to QLT or PRD TMS uses Background JOB "RDDIMPDP" . this job subsequently will use transport tool TP at OS level to transport object between SAP systems.
i hope this is what you are looking for.
