Hello,

The flow will be as follows:

1.Create Capital Project with WBS structure. Make sure that Investment profile is assigned to project profile.

2.REL the WBS. An AUC will be created against the WBS because of Investment profile. If you want AUC to be created only at top WBS, then use substitution to remove investment profile from 2nd level and below.

3. Do the periodic settlement. The cost from WBS will settle to AUC at period end.The settlement rule will be autopopulated on running first settlement.

4.On completion of project, TECO the WBS and create completed Asset from WBS. The path is Edit > WBS lement > Investment Program > Create Completed Asset. Create an Asset filling up all information for Asset class.

5.The final settlement will be capitalisation of Asset. The cost will be transferred from AUC to Asset. Depreciation will start from that date.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Hi

Once you Release WBS element then System Status for WBS becomes REL AUC (Released Asset in construction exists)

Alternatively Asset (AUC) number can be seen in WBS Detail - Basic Data screen or Menu Path is Extras -Asset Under Construction.

This number and Final Capitalization Date is useful for further Processing of Asset
