Dear All,
From what i read we can do inspection operation without using Inspection Plan. From what i see we can also give the sample size calculation without it.
1. What are the advantages of using Inspection Plan in Inspection Operation.
2. If we dont use an inspection plan at how do we do the RR for the master inspection characteristics?

Hi
1. What are the advantages of using Inspection Plan in Inspection Operation.
For Inspection if you use inspection plan then you have several Advantages like:
1.Most advantageous in you can do result recording.
2.confirmation of lot based on RR.
3.defect recording at char level.
4.Material - Vendor combination in the task list.
2. If we dont use an inspection plan at how do we do the RR for the master inspection characteristics?
If you don't use task list then you can not do RR.sample size will be calculated from sampling procedure in Inspection type.so RR not possible as no char.

Without Insp. Plan we cannot do Results Recording if Material Specification (QS61) also is not defined for the Material. That is for sure.
If only UD is to be given then we can go ahead without inspection plan and maintain Sampling Procedure in Material Master.
