How to change password of oracle sap<sid> schema?

Hi!

We did install xi 3.0 baseed on oracle 9i at Win2003 Enterprise Edition server.

I tried to change password of oracle schema sap<sid> with new password, finally failed.

First, i used "brconnect -u system/passwd -f chpass".

That was finished successfully.

but, i realized problem that J2EE could not connect DB.

finally, i must have returned origrinal passwd.

Pls. Notice me how to change it?

Hi,

when changing the password of your Oracle schema owner you have to adapt also the password in the connection parameter of the J2EE engine. In <i>Configtool</i> goto <i>Secure Store</i> . There adapt <i>jdbc/pool/<SID>/Password</i>.
