Buisness partner by Orgunit not getting deleted.

Hi

Can anyone help me with the belowing two issues.

I need to create a new org structure with a different Logical system similar to that of one that is currently in place.

But when I try to create in a new orgunit it is getting created under the same old org structure meaning in the under same node. But i want to to appear it as a separate node.

I tried by using create and Copy option it happens in the sameway.

Also when I try to delete the new org unit it is not getting deleted. I mean only I can delete the relationship but not the Object.

I tried by deleting it by using report BUPA_TEST_DELETE.

But I failed to delete the BP as well as the orgunit associated with this BP.

please suggest me for the above both issues.

Hello,

In Tcode BP for the Business Partner you want to delete goto Status Tab and set indicator for the field 'Archiving Flag.

Now user Tcode BUPA_DEL and key in the Business partner number.

Select only the indicator 'Only Records with Deletion Flag' and than execute

The Business Partner will get deleted.

Thanks for ur reply, the problem is solved.

But I have another problem as I have explained you i.e I have a one Organization struture in place and I would to copy the same because there was change of SAP R/3 client.

So when I try to copy the Root org Node of the one that already exists and create a new one system gives me a message

" Before you select a fucntion, select suitable entries in the structure."

The reason I would like to create a separate Node which is replica of the old one under the same with a different logical system.

please help me if you have any idea.

The root org unit should be created with the Tcode PPOCA_BBP.

I guess you are trying with the Tcode PPOMA_BBP which will result in creating the org unit below the root org.
