Problem in excise JV (J1IH)

Dear Friends,

when i am trying to creat Excise JV (J1IH) for TR6 Challan at the time of saving i am getting the below error meassage. so unable to save the document

FI posting error due to fiscal period 1

can you please help me out to resolve the issue.

FI posting error due to fiscal period 1

If system throws the above error, then you should check OB52 and OMSY periods are open. As you would know OB52 is FI period and OMSY is MM period.

for the same when i am saving hte document i got below error message

Document type not defined

can you please let us know where to define tiis document type and their customization path pealse.
