Dear Gurus,

I have performed the unicode conversion. Unicode system is ready now.

Could you please let me know whether i need to perform SUMG steps as a post steps in the unicode system.

Because somewhere I have read execution of SUMG for single code page conversion is not required.

Could you please let me know how to do this step. If it is required to perform.

Thanks and Regards

Purna

Hi Purna,

for a single code page system (non-MDMP / non-blended code page) SUMG is usually not required.

Dear Purna,

for single code page conversions, customers should use the guides attached to SAP note 1051576.

In these guides you do not find SUMG activities listed.
