Status Profile with Serial number.

Hi.

I have created 2 user statuses in Status profile- ZFD

1) Not Assigned(In Not Assigned ststus you can assign Serial number to SO)- Initial status of Serial no.

2) Assigned(In Assigned ststus you cannot assign Serial number to SO)

But When i create MB1C it asks me Serial no.When i enter & Save. Material with Serial no is created.

But when i go to IQ02 & check Material with Same Serial no, The status profile ZFD is not Automatically assigned.

I need to assign it manually.

My Questions are

1) Can i activate it for 561 movement type????

2) When i create SO with Serial no, that Serial number's status should change from Not Assigned to Assigned. is this possible????

Ans\ Serial no. is maintain for each indivisual material.. so if u want to make stock entry thru 561.. obviously it requires..

condition serial no profile shud b assigned inMMR

2) When i create SO with Serial no, that Serial number's status should change from Not Assigned to Assigned. is this possible????

Ans/ there is no logic to assign serial no. at sales order level..u hav to assign at deleivery level.. which automatically pulls into precedent sales order..

correct me if i went wrong..
