SAP Console became blank after Restart

Dear All,

I have restarted one of my internal ECC 6.0 Non Ides ABAP server after that i dont see any tree structure in the SAP Management Console.

And i have searched the services and found that service SAP<SID>_00 is not there and then i created the service by using the command sapstartsrv -t.

when i try to restart it i am getting the below error message.

"The SAPE17_00 service on local computer started and stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example the Performance logs Alerts services"

Please help me out if you have any inputs regarding this.

Dear Naresh,

Have u attempted to start the OS serives from a machine other than the server itself?

In such case u need to start the OS services manually from the server.

Also once the OS services are up and running , u can find the console back to its tree structure.

However U can also attempt to start the SAP from OS level Command.

Hope u know the command.

Let me know the status.

Dear Naresh Kopparthi ,

Please check if the sharing saploc and sapmnt exists for <drive>:\usr\sap. If sharing is not exists then please create the share as saploc and sapmnt with full access everyone.

After that you shud be able to start service and sap also in MMC.

i dont see any tree structure in the SAP Management Console.

You may want to find out the root cause of this problem but in the meantime you can add system by right click on SAP systems in SAPMMC ->properties->Fixed tab

Check why in the event viewer.

Hi Juan,

Even Viewer logs.

The SAPE17_00 service was successfully sent a start control.

The SAPE17_00 service entered the stopped state.

Did you change Service User password, if yes. Then please revert or make changes in all SAP services according.
