shipping information in Sales Order

Hi, experts,

I have met a very strange thing here. I thought the shipping information in Sales Order at item level is extracted from the material master data. I have defined the plant, sales org and distribution channel in material master data. However the automatic extraction does not work and i enter the plant manually, it shows that sales from sales orgxx, dist. chan. xx, plantxx are not defined.

Did I do something wrong?

Hi

it shows that sales from sales orgxx, dist. chan. xx, plantxx are not defined.

You need to assign Plant to Sales Organisation and Distribution Channel in IMG> Enterprise Structure>Assignment-->sales & Distribution --> Assign Sales Organisation-Distribution Channel-Plant.

This will resolve your issue
