portal logoff problem

Hi All,

I am getting problem in logging off the portal.

if i give

http://<my serveripaddress:myport>/irj/portal

after logged into the portal if i try to log off . i am unable to log off.

But if i give

http://<domain name:myport>/irj/portal

portal is working fine. I am able to logoff properly.

can anyone tell me what exactly the problem....

Hi Sanjay

when u launch a portal using IP Adress insted of host name than due to JAVA script error u r unable to Log off from portal and many portal functionality was also not work.

i don't understand is ur requirement that u want to launch portal using IP Address?

it's better to use host name to launch portal.
