LAN Check by Ping over JCo

is there a possible way to call the Lan Check by Ping (OS01) over a JCo connection?

You can use the Specific Address button to ping the java host.

no i mean how i can ping from the sap to a host but only using a connection over JCo - without a SAP GUI

I don't understand why has to be using a Jco?

Why don't you just ping directly from OS?..... can you explain your scenario in detail?

I try to write a monitoring tool in java and want to ping from the host system to the sap system and besides i want to ping seperatly from the sap system to the host - hope u understand what i'am tryig to do

the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio - but i think a simple eclipse would be enough too - i try to write it in simple java
