These messages are fine, they are written every time Oracle switches to the next redo log. The timestamp is 15:54:01 and the R3load error you sent in your initial post was timestamped 14:37. Was there nothing in the alert log around that time? Look specifically for anything that begins with "ORA-" followed by an error number. I expect that at least the ORA-00603 will be in there, hopefully with a little more information added. And what about *.trc files (see my previous reply)? Also look in the Windows Event Log.

!!

Good start, this means that you do not have a valid licence for this software. Do you know that SAP Software has a copyright and you need a licence to use it? AFAIK there is no such "free edition of IDES"

In addition, you as for help in an SAP Forum O_o

> oracle version 9.2.0.2.0

this is ancient history, buggy. You should use 10g. If you cannot use it, at least use the latest patch set, you will hit less bugs.

You should check tha alert log for errors around the time you got the disconnection, not later.

I think it's pretty audacious asking for help in an official SAP forum by providing the information, that you use "workarounds" to violate a license.

IDES is not free software, IDES is not for home use. That software is an education system for customers having a valid support contract.

Please read the "license.pdf" on the installation master.

--> abuse button pressed.

You can be happy if SAP legal won't sue you.

The reason i install it just for study not for bussiness,Ofcourse i would like to use a version which have license but it's so expensive for a people who just use it for personal study,I came here just looking for help,i never find out the people here is so unfriendly. I think the forums here is for peole to communicate with problem not discuss whether it's legal to study IDES system as this way, right?whatever thanks the people who ever helped me with this problem,i think i'll make solution myself.

Hi,

First check the version with SQLPLUS as instructed in Markus's reply.

Also look for error information in following locations:

- file \oracle\C11\saptrace\background\alertC11.log

- trace files (exension *.trc) in \oracle\C11\saptrace\background and \oracle\C11\saptrace\usertrace produced at/around the time of the crash

BTW just out of curiosity: it looks as if your server clock is set to the year 2020? Any reason for that?

Oracle 9.2 is out of support already

> ORA-00603: ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error

Your Oracle crashed.

What version are you using? Logon as <sid>adm and execute

sqlplus "/ as sysdba"

What do you see?
