ALL BOM component are not related to APO

Hi all ,

I want to know if i CIF BOM which have components related to APO( having MRP type relevant to it ) as well as not related to APO how its will be transfered to APO.

Do i will get a error message if all of my component are not related to APO ....?

Hi SCM APO,

When you CIF BOM from R/3 to APO only the component which have MRP type X0 are transfered to APO , and system didnt give any error as its standard behavior to CIF only relevant component of APO.

so its up to you only if you dont want to plan all the component from a BOM in APO how you will use the planning efficiently as its partly in APO and partly in R/3.

Hi SCM APO 22,

Only items relevant to APO in the BOM alone will gets transferred to APO.

Other components will not get transferred.

The same you will be defining as XO in MRP type in material master

You will not get any error message but it is a best practice recommendation

that all components planned in a BOM could be MRP relevant for better

planning results.
