Different vendor numbers in different backend systems for one SUS vendor

Former Member

Hi all,

at the moment we are working with the MM-SUS scenario with just one backend system.

Due to some changes, later on we want to connect some more backend-systems with SUS.

What do I have to consider in order to have just one supplier number in SUS and different vendor numbers

in our ECC systems in future?

According to the configuration guide I only created one purchasing organisation for the SUS vendors,

should the org modell be extended with our different purchasing organsitions or is it enough to

work with one?

What would be the effects if we would also use the catalog content management system

or the EBP? Is it here necessary to create the same structure as in the ECC systems? How should

it look like?

Hoping for some answers / experiences,

kind regards Barbara

Kind regards, Barbara

Barbara,

You can achieve this by building a custom program to add additional entries in VENMAP table for the same partner_GUID for the new backend system data.
