Dear All,

I am planning to carry out Stability Study.

I am facing some issues while doing this.

Firstly ,

While creating a notification for stability study for material I am selececting a regular production material. Is it right way to proceed.

Please Advice.

Hi

You can select any material which is relevent to Stability study...... that means select material for which--> going to activate the inspection type 16.

Actually there is only one Tcode Exists that is QM01/02/10

In stability study there are so many helps available

Also for Stability Study Refer

I know there is only one transaction QM01/02 for this process.

Can you please confirm the steps which I am summarizing below, CAn you please explain me the significance of varous steps. I have drawn these steps referring Help.sap.com.

1. Create a stability study:

Using QM01 we select appropriate notification type QS/QR,

In my case I chose QS ( SS for Material)

Then I select the material in question with Plant & Batch.

Then Save it.

2. create a physical-sample record

Then from the action box in right side I select the u201C Create Initial Sampleu201D

This time a Pop up appears, here I find two fields

1. Phy. Sample type.

2. Phy. Sample category

By Saving I create the initial sample.

3. Confirm receipt initial sample

Then from right action box I select u201CConfirm Initial sampleu201D

Again one Pop-up appears, This time there are three mandatory fields

u2022 Primary Packing : This is the packing which has the contact with the FG material.

u2022 Sample Qty: This quantity documents the total size of an initial sample for stability study.

u2022 UOM

4. assign a stability BOM

Then from right action box I select :Assign Bill of Materialu201D

Again a Pop-up appears.

u2022 BOM Usage: It should be 8 ( defined in config)

u2022 Alternate BOM No.

5. Initial Test inspection lot

Then From right I select :u201DInitial test insp. Lotu201D

Again A pop-up appears

It show the inspection type which is assigned in the Material Master QM view.

& task list Group & group counter. On entering the requisite values create the inspection lot.

A new pop-up is appears; Now select copy all option from bottom.

6. Insp. Lot for stability sample

Then complete the RR & UD.

7. Completing the Initial Test

The n once the RR & UD is completed From right action box selectu201D Complete initial testu201D
