Hi,

Tcode SCC4 is the easiest way to find the client role

Many times users do not have authorization for Tcode : SCC4, mainly in Production System.

In such cases, you can go to Tcode SE16 --> Enter Table Name as T000 --> Click on Table Contents button and on the next screen you can click on Execute Button to see the Details.

The field CCCATEGORY of Table T000 will have values like P, T, C, D, E, S

Descriptive texts of values P, T, C, D, E, S are as explained by Bharathi Ch

Hi Parin

Related to the client i have some doubts and maybe you can help me.

Actually we have the role to "Customizing" but can we change the role to "Productive" without any problem to the system ? or to the users processes ? or to actual configuration ? And in the case that we could have some affectation what we need to do in that case ?

Thanks in Advance

Hi Reinaldo,

Can you please open a new thread with your question?... theres little point in hijacking an old thread that does not represent your issue.

Hello Heena,

We decide that a particular client will behave as testing or production according to the settings in scc4.

Go to scc4 & check Client Role,Changes & Transports for client specific object. For Production client this setting should be "No changes Allowed"

Hi Heena

Just follow the follwing procedure to detect the system of production/Test/developmet Client like

1) GoTo transaction SE11

2 ) Enter the table name T000 (Clients).

The field CCCATEGORY determines the category of the client.

Following are the various possible values of the same:

role shortdesc

P Production

T Test

C Customizing

D Demo

E Training/Education

S Sap reference
