Hi All,
The customer hierarchy gets determined in sales order on the basis of partner determination. My question is why this is so.
since we have already created a customer heirarchy and now when we are making a sales order with a sold to party. the system knows which customer hiereachy this sold to party belong to and so it shud determine customer hierarchy on the basis of heirarchy defined in VDH1n.......but why the system uses customer hierarchy partner determination to determined hierarchy path in sales order.

sachin
Hi,
Customer hierarchy is mainly used for Pricing and rebates.
In Sales order processing partner of sold-to-party is defined based on partner determination procedure. This is standard setting of sales order processing in SAP.
