Installed new PRD in HP & Storage in IBM SAN

Dear Team,

I want to installed SAP on New HP Unix Server. but I want to use IBM SAN storage for database storage.

If I use HP Unix Server and Create Oracle File System i.e /oracle/PRD/sapdate1...... to /oracle/PRD/sapdate4.....,

/oracle/PRD/mirrlogA ,B, /oracle/PRD/origlogA , B and /oracle/PRD/oraarch in IBM SAN.

I want to Plan this scenerio for my Production Server.

Because our team want to implement this schenerio.

But I am afferading that if any Problem will come like

(1) HP will give support of IBM SAN .

(2) IBM give support on HP-ux server and OS.

If any problem will come like in IBM SAN that file system not showing . where should I contect.?

If IBM say update HP-UX patch . But these patch not compatable with IBM SAN.

Please suggest me for this scenerio.

Should I go for this schenerio in my Production server environment becuase our Production server run 24*7 ?

Thanks

Kavi

Check the possibility of taking support contract for the whole hardware. I have seen this happening for non-sap systems in my earlier orgnization.
