Hi Gurus!

I have got same error message with SE51, and grapihcs layout editor...

I thought it could be a sap kernel problem, then I upgraded our kernel (SPARC 64bit NU) up to 221, but the error is not disappear...

I know this was resolved. But in our case we went through all the suggestions posted here and they didn't work for us.

The problem we found was that in the host file, the Screen Painter was trying to connect with the server name, not with the IP. Inserting the name and IP in the HOSTS file solved our problem.

Hope it helps

Hi,

Common reason is simply that there is no network route from Customer's system to your own pc (Were Screen Painter will run) . If you are using STFK connection to customer, you won't be able to launch screen painter as remote IP is not reachable from your outside network. Otherwise if you have a direct VPN to the customer, RFC will work.

For reference, the RFC EU_SCRP_WN32 tries to establish connection from computer where SAPGui is running to port 33<nr> on Application Server. If this port is not allowed by firewall or network configuration, it will timeout as well.

Details can be seen in trace \AppData\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\Traces\dev_eusp as stated by Alper

Timeout = 60 min

Dear All... I had same problem for many mounths... My solution has been the "NAME" of my computer. My name contains a special char ( ì ) and the server didn't answer at my "request" to launch the screen painter SAP.

So try to change your "PC-Name" without special char (ex: "office") and try again to launch the Screen Painter.

I'm sorry for my bad english and i hope this reply will be usefull for You.

Paolo

hello

it will happen most probably for two reasons

- old GUI version

- very low net speed

solution

upgrade your Gui version with latest one the required DLL file will installed automatically

upgrade also your net speed it requires very high speed to load the layout

if any one know any other reason then please reply here

I had the same Problems and solve it in the following way:

enter transaction ---> sm59

under TCP/IP-Connections ---> EU_SCRP_WN32 increase the CPIC-Timeout ( default 20 ). like 100 or more...

I hope it helps...

Hi,

You can also check the following trace file according to note Note 101971 - 37527 Graphical full screen is not available (RFC)

(For windows 7)

\AppData\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\Traces\dev_eusp(process number)

In our case, reason of the problem was hostname of relevant computer which has wrong character.

For your information.
