Error in Device Replacement

Hi everyone,

I am working with Device repalcement and i did the following steps.

Device creation in IQ01

Installation - ES30

Technical Installation - EG33

Billing Related Installation - EG34

then while removing the device i did billing related removal first i.e; EG35 . but while doing Technical removal and replacement it is showing an error " Removal/Replacemnt of device xxx is impossible on date (current date ) ". can anyone plz help me in solving this error. Also plz let me know whether the sequence of steps which i followed is correct or not.

Also let me know when i have to do full installationa and when i have to do (tech + biling ) installation and in which sequence.

Hi Archana,

technical installation is always done before billing related installation.

the error which you have pointed is I guess EN015-Removal/replacement of device RDG2 on 06.08.2009 is not possible

this error comes if you try to install and remove the device on the same date.

to resolve this try to remove the device at a date later than the date on which it was installed.

about the diff. in full/technical/billing installation

technical installation is used for calculations only,they are not to be billed.

if a tecnical installation has to be billed then we do a billing installtion.

a full installation is both a technical and a billing installation.
