Hi,

In a file to file scenario, you would have to configure the following:

Repository:

1 Data type (can be used as both the source and target)

2 Message types(one each for src and target)

1 Message mapping.

2 Message interfaces.

1 Interface mapping.

Directory:

2 Business systems.

2 communication channels. (1 cc with sender file adapter, and another with receiver file adapter)

1 receiver determination.

1 interface determination.

1 receiver agreement.

1 sender agreement.

Smitha.

Hi Smitha,

Could you tell me why we need two business systems in File to File scenario. Also when i i am configuring Receiver determination step, what should be my service under section 'Configured Receivers'.

To let you know that i have installed ftp server on the local machine.

Also when i create SWCV in sld, what should i choose as product, vendor for file to file scenario.

Hi,

To read the file from the Local Machine and dump the file to local machine, you need to install FTP server in your machine. And XI server should be accessible from your machine.
