Business Objects Security

Hi all,

What is SAP Business Objects and how is the security implemented in SAP Business Objects. Is the security in Business Objects same as the SAP standard role based security. (i.e, roles, authorizations, authorization objects ). Is it any way related to SAP BI security.

It is much the same as most web applications.

Permissions, inheritance and the distinction between inheritance at different levels (universe, planet, country, city, etc..

Please read the documentation on the BO security model and integration scenarios on your side and then ask more specific questions if you get stuck somewhere.
