how to read sales order attachment document

Hi

I have a requirement where in , sales order attachments(pdf, excel, doc) has to be sent in a mail. Is there any way to read these attachments.

Hi,

If you want to display them or to extract them just follow the path below:

Go to VA02 > Extras > Document ...............just click

I am aware of how to attach document to sales order. But my requirement is how can i read/ retrieve those documents from sales order. Is there any function module / class method / BAPI that does so.

My actual requirement is to read the attachment and sent that in a mail.

goto va02,select menu extras-->document

Plz follow below steps:

t.code SU3 click on Parameter Tab

Input : SD_SWU_ACTIVE and X in Paramater value

save and come out..

now go to VA02 c there is one icon generated just above the Sold to party decription

now click on that.. further click on icon like (Paper Clip) now u can easily upload ur file from ur Desktop..

save the sales order.

.in future whenever u want to have look at .. u can..
