Installing EP6-SP14 and upgrade?

Hi,

I need to install EP6-SP14 on WebAS 6.40. I have got SP9 installation files for Portal and WebAS and upgrade support packs for SP10, SP12, SP13, SP14.

The procedure I have got now is to install SP9 first and then upgrade to SP14. My first question here is can I upgrade straight from SP9 to SP14 without going through cumulative upgrades?

For some reason I don't have support pack for SP11, is this SP intentionally not released, so we can jump to SP12 from SP10?

Could anyone please give me the direct download links of EP6-SP14 download in SAP services.

You can upgrade directly to the last sp from sp9(sr1).

Hi Florin,

Thanks, understood that I can do straight upgrade from SP9(SR1) to SP14. Just curious to know, is there a download of installation files for EP6-SP14 and WebAS6.40(SP14)? I mean install EP6-SP14 straight instead of EP6-SP9? Or is it always that we have to install SP9 EP and WebAS first and then upgrade to required stack level?

Hi Siva,

when u download the SP 14 for J2EE/EP. it is for upgrade use.

u can not install direct Ep 6.0 SP14 unless u use Rapid installer.

after installing Ep 6.0 SP 9

-Apply patch SP14 for J2ee Server

-Apply Patch SP14 for Portal/Content management.

make sure while applying patch ur J2EE server is running under safe mode.

Hi Shiva,

NWDS Patch is independent from Portal SP.

SP14 is also available for NWDS.

u can download it from.

service.sap.com/swdc -> Sap support package ->

SAP NETWEAVER ->SAP NETWEAVER 04 -> Entry by Component" Developer Studio

Hi Guys,

I am trying to upgrade from ep-sp9 on ep-14 and then install PDK business package.

For this pre-requsite is was-sp14 which I upgraded successfully.

But when I start ep-sp14 pacth, the installer rejects the Administrator password as wrong. But It is perfectly correct. I have tried in 3 different environments./ Same result.

Any clue ?/
