Folks,
We have a requirement that in STO's, we normally delivery in full (so no partial deliveries). HOwever, let's say in case 1000 pieces are ordered and 999 are on stock, a partial delivery should be created.
Can this be handled in standard or are there exits available?
Thanks,
MZ
Hi
In STO that is in purchase order if the qty ordered is 1000 units and say the stock is available only 900 in the issuing plant
Then in VL10 B you cannot do anything as VL10 B is a background delivery creation
We will just give PO nimber and execute in VL10 B
Delivery will be created (if configured properly)
Now if you go to VL02N you will see the delivered qty is copied as 900 only (only the available stock)
A partial delivery is automatically created
So the PO is still open for the balance 100 units
Your issue is addressed in the standard itself

Please try the folllowing settings:
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements > Availability Check > Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning > Determine Procedure For Each Delivery Item Category
For the relevant delivery item category, you can switch off the availability check for particular item categories in deliveries. Set "X" 'Do Not check availability"
Also, you need to check your settings in the material master (Sales: General/Plant Data) for the 'Checking Group for Availability Check'.
Then you can make settings for the 'checking group' in "Carry Out Control For Availability Check" (Same menu path as above)
Kind Regards
Eddy
Yes, its possible in standard, You can change the quantity manually in STO delivery in VL10B, and then after some time you can deliver the remaining quantity, also you have to check in STO item details, then there check partial delivery control under delivery tab in STO item details, and make that field blank.
Thanks,
Raja
