Barcode problem in Smartforms

Hi Experts,

My requirement is to print delivery no. in barcode format in PICKING REQUEST form. I have created one character format and assigned that character format to the delivery, as shown below,

L <BC>&VBELN&</>.

But when i see the print preview, it was coming. when i give the print out, barcode was not coming. only the delivery number was printing in place of barcode.

Can any one help me in this issue.

Hi ,

Check if the printer supports printing BARCODE , not all printers support this...I think its the issue is with printer/drivers as the preview is correct...

Hi

Check with the Basis Guy whether your Printer is capable of printing BARCODE's as

Normally in the smartforms all the information will be sent to the Printer as an image .

Hi Ramana

Copy the standard barcode and give your own convenient name by using new barcode technology.

By using new barcode technology this problem will solve.

For reference, I am providing SAP NOTE 430887 and SAP NOTE 645158. Please look into these notes, you clearly understood. Try this. I think it will definitely solve your problem.
