Hi,

I need your help concerning how to add a link in a smartform. I 've check in other treads but can't find what I need.

I need to insert a text in my form and when user clicks on this text, a new page with information is called.

ex : When user clicks on text "info" the browser calls page => www.google.com.

Is it possible to do this? If yes , how?

Kind regards

Karim

Hi,

Smartform output is meant for displaying legal forms, I dont think so , such funcationality is possible.

As interactivity is not allowed in legal forms, this may not be possible, I have even checked with Adobe forms for this functionality, i dont think this is possible.

Thanks guys but this treads don't answer to my question.

In my smartform, I don't wants that the url is displayed to the user.

Only a simple text like "Info" or "click here" should be displayed.

But how to specify that when user clicks on "Click here", the system must calls the appropiate url.

Kind regards

Hi Karim,

1)In the text node give the www.google.com.select the text and click on Insert URL.

2)Take the spool number for this smartform.

3)After that excute the standard program RSTXPDFT4 in the spool request give the spool number generated for the smartform.

4)It gets downloaded as PDF file on your system and then click on it.The browser page is displayed as per your requirement.
