Difference between AFS and IS Retail

Hi,

Can some body explain in detail what is the difference between SAP AFS and SAP IS-Retail Module.

I have the document for the both.But I am looking for specific difference in both module.

Hi

IS Retail is specipically for Retail Industry, like Globe - Walmart, Target, best buy and etc... India - Bigbazar, reliance retail...etc.,.

Retail terminalogies - DC and Site/Stores - Vendor Purcahse and sales. Promotions, bonus buys

Replenishment, Retail pricing, Merchanidise categories, Assortments, Articles(matereals)

POS, SRS.

AFS is for Apparel and Footwear like, Nike, reebok, VF and more

Dear Abdul,

SAP AFS solution would be primarily used by the manufacturing and production of apparel and footwear companies.

SAP IS-RETAIL would be used for Retail business of the companies.

I hope this clarifies the difference. Please let us know if you have further queries.
