Hi
What would be good approaches to build menus with webdynpro?
Regards,
Ronaldo.
Hi Ronaldo,
It depends on your requirements, i.e. menu layout and structure.
1. Classic menu bar with menu popups -- not available;
2. Plain vertical items list -- table with one column with LinkToAction cell renderer or just a transparent container with vertically stacked LinkToAction;
3 Smth. like "Go to..." type of menu -- DropDownByKey / DropDownByIndex control with OnSelect handler;
4. Site map -- Tree control
As Stephan mentioned, there is no containers that could hold menu popups except IWDTray

What kind of menus do you need?

Hi Ronaldo,
the Tray UI element provides the only available menu so far. There are AFAIK no other possibilities to get menus in Web Dynpro.

Stefan
PS: To get the IWDTray documentation, right-click on the Tray icon in the "Container Standard" section of the View designer.
