NW 7.0 EHP1

hi folks,

we have ECC 6.0 und NW 7.0 and plan to install the EPH1 for the Netweaver and the EHP3 for the ECC6.0.

ist is possible to install only EPH1 for NW 7.0?`

are there any known side-effects?

what are your experiences?

installing EHP3 for ECC 6.0?

what are your experiences?

do we have to make SPAU and SPDD for that or are there no impacts on ECC itself?

Hi Oliver,

For EHP1 on SAP Netweaver system: Check SAP note Note 1142832 - Installation Enhancement Package 1 for Netweaver 700.pdf

As far as ECC systems are concerned, I will always prefer to install EHP4 than EHP3.

Check SAP note Note 1143022 - Installation of SAP Enhancement Package 4 on SAP ERP 6.0.pdf

Note 1083533 - Installation of Enhancement Package 3 on SAP ERP 6.0.pdf

You have to make SPAU and SPDD in both EHP1 and EHP4 installation.

In EHP3, I am not sure about SPDD but SPAU you have to do.

Did you install NW 7.0 EhP1?

Did you have to install EhP4 of ERP along with it?

Did yu see a lot of benefit on installing NW EhP1?

Can you highlight any major issues that arose from it?

sorry but we did not install it yet, we will do it in october.

we install ehp4 for erp and ehp1 for netweaver.

we expect -hopefully - better performance for webdynpro-applications
