One file to one IDOC(sometimes to 2 or N-IDOCs)

Hi,

There's a scenario in which at a particular schedule only one file comes which needs to be converted to one IDOC or many IDOCs. How can it be done in XI?

Regards,

Vishal

Hello Vishal,

You can use MultiMapping for mapping single file to multiple IDOCs, If your target IDOC is of same type you need to set the occurences to unbound. If IDOC of different type then you need to add message type to the target messages list.

Once you have changed the ocurence of the IDOC you can map the repeating node from your file to the IDOC to have multiple IDOCs created accordingly

If you have multiple Idocs of same type to be sent, then you can handle tks in mapping directly.

You need to export your idoc on local machine, change the occurrence of node Idoc from "1" to "1" - "9999".

Then you need to map the occurrence of rootnode of records in file to this Idoc node.
