optimizer connection failed

hi,

while i am doing optimization in PPDS , system gives "optimizer connection test failed". what will be the problem. in /sapapo/om03 ( live cache program test) also under optomizer it gives "optimizer connection test failed". how to solve this issue?

Hi Thennarasu,

1) Check the livecache connection is proper in linewith BASIS team

2) Check optimiser server whether connected properly

3) Check the RFC settings inline with optimiser

4) Carryout OM17 and check any errors

5) Check the optimiser logs whether any error is giving
