XML messages question

Hi,

I'm Angeline, I have quick question about XML messages in PI 7.0 server. under windows server 2003

as I know there are 2 background jobs are running to deleted data every-day for xml messages, so I can see only 1 day messages...

Jobs are :

Job: SAP_XML_DELETE

Program: RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES

Job: SAP_XML_HIST_DELETE

Program: RSXMB_DELETE_HISTORY

I don't want any messages deleted so I release these job or change time...

My question is that effect will the system performance, where xml_messages are store ?

can we deleted some perouid or time for example date to date delete xml messages...

XI message is actually stored in different tables i.e SXMSPMAST, SXMSPMAST2 XML Message master Table, contains runtime information on XML messages processed by XI; in this tables you can find all the information that is visible in SXMB_MONI etc.

Since correctly processed messages are flagged as either

1)To Be Archived or

2) To Be Deleted (and because this indicator cannot be changed), you must decide which messages you want to archive before the first message is processed.

system performance will not affect based on the no of jobs.
