Licensing Error

Hi ,

Installed Solution Manager EHP1.

System details :

OS/Database : WIndows 2003 Standard 64Bit/MSSQL 2005

I am unable to install license for this system ,I get the below error when i try to install license from 000client with DDIC user Tcode : SLICENSE

" rc of SsfEncode: 11 = SSF_API_ENCODE_FAILED = ASN.1 encoding failed "

When i tried to install from OS leve , i got the following error

C:\Documents and Settings\svfadm>saplicense -install ifile=D:\license_script.txt

• ERROR: data in file D:\license_script.txt incomplete(143/175)

The license looks like it contains a digitally signed license. Those files cannot be installed with the SAPlicense program.

Please logon to the SAP system to install the file. In case the license is for an ABAP system please got to the transaction SLICENSE and press the button "New licenses" before pressing the "Install" button.

saplicense: Error reading license data from file D:\license_script.txt

Note: System has a temporary license.

Please suggest what could be the problem .

Hi ,

I could solve the issue ,

The problem was with PSE file , what i found is that PSE file (Self signed) is not available in the system .(From Tcode STRUST).

Maintained PSE file then i could successfully install license for the system.
