Requirements management in SolMan

Hi Gurus,

Do we have the requirements management in SolMan? How can we define the requirements traceability matrix in SOLAR01?

Any of you worked with this functionality before?

We are comparing the tools - Requisite Pro & SolMan for this functionality. If SolMan can do this, we don't need to get Req Pro.

Please let me know your views/experiences.

The way I've seen it is that requirements are described at different levels starting from the business scenario, process and process step node in the business blueprint.

These requirements are embedded as documents in the hierarchy using specific document types in SOLAR01.

These can then be included in testing to compare test scripts and results against requirements.Hope this helps.

Does anyone think that a custom ABAP to build a requirements database into Solman would be a good idea?

I have the same questions. We used Req Pro but the tool was not very easy to use and not very sophisticated.Did you find the answer?
