Statistical Forecasting level

Hi,

When I execute the forecast icon, the forecast is executed at the combination of the selection?

Example: I´ve got caracteristics: Product and Location; and P1 and L1, L2, L3 values respectively.

I want to forecast P1/L1, P1/L2 and P1/L3.

Do I have to create 3 selections and forecast for each selection? Or can I have just 1 selection and execute the forecast once for the 3 combinations?

Hi LCD777,

You can do forecasting either at the aggregated level or at the

disaggregated level.

ie Either you can create 3 different selections and execute or

create a combo of selections and execute forecasting at each

level.

After selections and upload of data is done, click on header

information settings and then select "Product" and *location"

so that those fields will display as headers for you to drill

down to the desired level (as aggregation or disaggregation)

HI,

When we are using interactive demand plan for forecst run, this is very important to understand at which aggregation level we are ??? before run the forecast.

As i suggest in you case:

1. we can create a selection profile with show as Location and restriction to the product P1. where you can select each location from the same selectoin profiles and run the forecast.

2. if not willing the same, then load the planning book for entire selection profile and use dril down for L1 L2 and L3, then you run the forecast.
