Check for used DCs failed:Used component not found:sap.com/tc/bi/bp/webDynp

Hello,

We are upgrading our NWDI and completed configuring our tracks on the new NWDI. Now we want to move all our existing code (DCs and SCs) from the old NWDI to the new NWDI. However, for some reason, we were not able to move the DCs and SCs into the new NWDI. Now, we resorted to loading all the DCs and SCs into the new NWDI as if there has not been a old NWDI. We have all our DCs in one of the laptops and we want to migrate the local WD projects into the NWDI DC Webdynpro projects.

During this process, after importing the Development configuration into the NWDS, we are unable to see all of the used DCs under the standard SAP SCs (SAP-JEE, SAP_BUILDT, SAP_JTECHS).

We are using http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/42/c8204dd57f136fe10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm for migrating the Webdynpro projects as DC WD projects into the NWDI.

When we are trying to build the DC Webdynpro project, we are getting the error

Aug 4, 2009 3:47:29 PM /userOut/Development Component (com.sap.ide.eclipse.component.provider.listener.DevConfListener) [Thread[ModalContext,5,main]] ERROR: test: Build failed for ec.com/test(ec.com_EC_ECC_1) in variant "default": Check for used DCs failed: Used component not found: sap.com/tc/bi/bp/webDynpro. HI,

you can find the dependent DCs in NWDS only after you successfully import them into the development tab in CMS Transport studio.

first check in the required DCs in check in tab then, in development tab, import them.

once required DCS a re avilabel u wiill be able to build DCs.

Regards,

Satya.
