SD Document Category VBTYP

Hi there

Can anyone give me some detailed information on the field VBTYP found on the sales document type?

Like, how it behaves and what the impact is on posting to accounting for example?

I am mainly interested in the difference between H and I, as when we use Doc cat I for a returns, the wrong accounting is posted.

You should have to use H for Returns , and I for Free of charge sales senario.

Depends on the sales senario we have to use the standard sales document category., Document category only varies the kind of the sales process.
